Day 4: See Ya Real Soon, Disneyland!

Monday April 11th, 2016

We woke up this morning and Kari had already left to go back home. My flight wasn’t until the afternoon and Michaela and Nicole weren’t leaving until tomorrow… so we had about half a park day left to enjoy together! Let’s do this!

We got to Disneyland and went straight to the Mark Twain. It is one of my favorite places to take pictures in the park (because the lighting is always gorgeous) so we had a little photoshoot there!

Frankie met up with us too and even though it was quick, it was wonderful to be reunited again!

Before getting of the boat we got the chance to say hello to a very spooky friend, Dr. Facillier! He asked us if we needed any special potions for people who have done us wrong. It was almost an offer we couldn’t refuse!

However, we had to keep moving forward – we were on a tight schedule here! We went to Fantasyland and went on Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride and the Storybook Canal boats.

After that, the Disneyland portion of our trip was over. It was time to head over to DCA to grab some lunch!  I couldn’t believe it was the last day and I still hadn’t eaten anything from Food and Wine! So that’s exactly what I did. I got the beef, the chicken mac and cheese, and the blackberry tart. Everything was amazing!

For the rest of the time we browsed the Cars Land gift shops, sat in the Animation building, and had a little photo shoot on Paradise Pier. However, it was very sad because, unfortunately, the end was near.

We headed back to Buena Vista Street and gave Oswald some special hugs before heading out.

From there I went back to the hotel, took an uber to the airport, and flew back to Arizona to finish up my last 3 1/2 weeks of school. I had the most wonderful, magical vacation. I am so glad all of us were able to come together for this weekend because I made some memories that I will truly cherish forever. Thank you girls for making it possible and I hope everyone enjoyed reading about these adventures!
