The day after I got back from Disneyland Paris was the day we headed out of London to our next destination – Dublin, Ireland! We stayed in dorms at University College Dublin and it was very beautiful! Dublin had a much slower pace than London, but we got to experience some really great places while we were there!
Our first class trip was on June 8th to the Guinness Brewery (or “museum,” as my professors liked to call it). We got to learn about the process of how they make the ever-famous Guinness and at the end of the tour they taught us how to pour our very own perfect pints!
After our tour, we went to the oldest pub in Dublin named the Brazenhead! I always love going to “original” locations and this one felt particularly significant to me!
On June 10th, we woke up very early for our bus tour that took us to the Cliffs of Moher! This trip is what made me fall in love with Ireland because the sights we got to see were beautiful beyond words. It was the perfect example of that Irish greenery I had always dreamed about!
Our next stop on our bus tour was Doolin. We only got to stay for about 15 minutes but it was one of the most stunning places I have ever been! The water looked like it went on forever, the clouds were painted beautifully in the sky, and the sun was glistening on every ripple in the water. I adored this place!
