For the third and final country during our Study Abroad program, we traveled to Scotland! We stayed at University of Edinburgh. It had one of the coolest campuses I’ve ever seen… mostly because there was a castle right outside of my dorm building!
On June 19th, we went on – you guessed it – another bus tour! We woke up bright and early, I curled into my little window seat, I turned on my Brave music, and looked out the window at the beautiful Scottish countryside. We drove all the way to Glasgow so we could explore!
When we hopped off the bus there was a bag pipe player right in front of the mountains. This was like a scene taken straight out of a storybook. Between the chilly weather, fog, music, and picturesque mountains, it was such a surreal yet completely genuine Scottish experience.
Then we got back in the bus and drove over to Loch Ness in search of Nessie the Loch Ness monster! Unfortunately, we didn’t have any luck finding him. However, we did have some time to explore a little castle area which was lots of fun.
The views in Scotland were unreal!
Then on June 21st we explored the Edinburgh Castle! It offered such an incredible view of the city from up above!
Then later that day we took a very fun tour in the city that I’m sure would interest many of you! However you’ll have to wait until the next update to find out what it was…!
