Disney’s Vero Beach Resort

Two hours away from Walt Disney World there’s a quiet little place called Disney’s Vero Beach Resort. Ten of us were (miraculously) able to get the weekend of September 17th off, so we planned the most perfect getaway in this quaint beach town!

We left Orlando bright and early and made it to Shutters for our 10:50 am reservation! Goofy and Donald were meeting at breakfast and they were absolutely wonderful! There were barely any people in the restaurant, so we got to take tons of pictures and have fantastic interactions with them!

Once we finished off our delicious breakfast, we went up to our two bedroom villa. This place was huge and it comfortably fit 10 people, which was astounding! We had plenty of room to dance and relax – which were obviously two of the biggest goals of the trip!

Since the word “beach” is in the name of our resort, can you guess where we headed next?

The beach was gorgeous and the water was a great temperature – we couldn’t have been happier!

To switch things up a little bit we went in the pool, on the water slide, and in the sauna! (because clearly things weren’t hot enough outside in the middle of summer in Florida, you know?)

It was a full moon that night so we spent the night on the beach, listened to the waves, stared at the stars, and talked about the universe. I live for nights like that.

Every single person in our group was raving about the resort and we would love to go back again. I cannot believe it’s so close to home, too! I mean, if you can make it there in time for a breakfast reservation I would say that’s pretty ideal.

The next morning we grabbed lunch at Seaside Grill which was about 10-15 minutes away from Disney’s Vero Beach Resort. We took some pictures on the pier and then headed back to “reality” (if you can even call it that at this rate – life is but a dream!)
