Palo & Animator’s Palette

January 9th, 2017

We woke up bright and early the next morning and headed to brunch at Palo! It was Jackie’s birthday and we were ready to celebrate. Palo was the absolute perfect place to go!

Since we had such a large group, we were seated in our own private dining room! Our waiter’s name was Alvin and he made our experience so incredibly magical. He took us on a tour of all of the food options – there were three different food stations and on top of that you could also order off the menu. I honestly needed a second stomach for this meal!

The entire meal was only $30 and I can genuinely say that it was better than any buffet I have ever been to in my life. There are not enough good things that can be said about Palo – every wonderful thing you hear about this restaurant is true! They completely exceeded our expectations and I hope I get to go back next time I’m on board.

After filling ourselves up to the brim, we took it pretty easy in the afternoon. We watched Camp Rock in our stateroom, met Mickey in his tropical shirt in the atrium, and then Iz and I went to explore Nassau really quick before we sailed away!

Then the show of the night was “Twice Charmed” which was a twist on the Cinderella story and what would’ve happened if Lady Tremaine and the Step Sisters had a second chance to keep Cinderella and Prince Charming apart! We all really enjoyed this one – I just love how Cruise Line shows give you new perspectives on movies you already know and love!

Our dinner that night was at Animator’s Palette! Our waiters, Limbert and Santiago, were so excited to see us and made our night so special. They had such a huge smiles on their faces when we walked in. We absolutely loved their positive energy!

At Animator’s Palette there were sketches throughout the entire restaurant, and there were characters constantly being drawn on different screens. Then at the end of the meal, they do a little show. I don’t want to give it away because it’s such a fun surprise, but we were all very emotional. This was the most magical restaurant of all time!

This was also Pirate Night so we were all dressed up for the night’s festivities! They had fireworks up on Deck 10 and they did a pirate show with all of the characters. Then we finished the night by watching Moana in the movie theater!
