To cope with the fact that I was turning 24 (aka one step closer to being a real adult – yikes!) I decided that I wanted to do something really fun and exciting for my birthday. Realizing that I was turning 24 years old and had never been to Vegas, it was a pretty obvious choice that this needed to be my destination!
My friend Erika made the trek out to the west coast with me! After we almost missed our plane (don’t worry, we boarded 9 minutes before take-off) we flew to Vegas for my first time ever!
Here are all of the best highlights of our trip to Las Vegas:

First highlight? Our breakfast. We were staying at a hotel called “The D” and were starving by the time we arrived. We went to “The D Grill” and ordered the most incredible Cinnamon Roll Pancakes I have ever had in my life. I will genuinely remember them forever.
We went to Cirque Du Soleil: Beatles LOVE. I have been an avid Beatles fan since 3rd grade, so seeing a Cirque show set to the songs I spent my entire life listening to was truly a special experience. My favorite act was the song “Help” where they had roller skaters on two turnpikes… Amazing!

We did a bunch of exploring at the different hotels… Cesar’s Palace, The Bellagio, Paris Las Vegas, The Venetian, etc. People always say Vegas is the adult version of Disney World and hotel hopping definitely reminded me of resort hopping back at home!
To see the view of the city we went on the High Roller!
Then we found the Promised Land in the middle of Sin City… In-N-Out Burger.
To finish off our second night in Vegas we saw QUEEN BRITNEY SPEARS perform!! Then afterwards we met up with Ryan, got some tacos for Cinco de Mayo, and went to explore The Cosmopolitan.

We did a little more hotel exploring today and stopped by the Wynn and Encore – my absolute top favorites!
My favorite food of the day was Raising Cane’s! I frequented Cane’s in Arizona and they sadly don’t have it out on the east coast. It felt so good to be reunited (after a full year!) and to introduce it to Erika for the veryfirst time!
A stop at the famous “Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas” sign was also a necessity!
Then we finished off our time at the Wynn! We went to the bar called Sinatra’s… aka a Frank Sinatra themed bar aka my own version of heaven. We also got to check out the nightclub, XS!
I felt like this trip gave me the absolute perfect first taste of Vegas! Erika’s extended family is from Vegas and Ryan frequently visits because he lives right in LA, so I had such wonderful tour guides to show me around! Thank you both for making part one of my birthday celebrations so memorable!
Now on to PART TWO!
